KU64-Dentists from Berlin are voluntarily treating, from the 21. January until 01. February 2012, scholars in South Africa for the 3rd time.
Smiling faces, healthy teeth and happy children are the best rewards for new dentists and prophylaxis assistants of the dental practice KU64 on Berlin Kudamm. Year for year three dental teams from the Practice travel to South Africa – in 2012 for the 3rd time – to treat the scholars of a primary school in Paternoster (160 Kilometers north of Cape town).
Our Project
For 10 days from the 21st of January 2012, the KU64-team will dentally treat approximately 300 students on-site and teach them playful and effective methods for oral hygiene. The dental-team and KU64-owner Dr. Stephan Ziegler is supported by the nonprofit Foundation Laureate. The name of the project is : WESTCOAST KIDS (www.westcoastkids.co.za). We and the Laureate foundation are happy to make a worthful contribution to the health of these children.
Our Partner
Numerous partners of KU64 in the dental field support the project with generous donations, eg. Smile Design Dentallabor, Voco GmbH, MIP, multi-com.biz, Resorba and Ivoclar Vivadent GmbH. But also the readers of the daily newspaper DER TAGESSPIEGEL donated hundreds of bags with small gifts for the children!
